What a day! Our experience at The Kent Wedding Show....

What a whirlwind - in the best possible way. After days (and nights) of prepping and creating, yesterday we exhibited at The Kent Wedding Show, and honestly, I'm still buzzing.
Setting up Saturday and arriving there yesterday morning, I wasn't sure how the day would unfold. But from the moment the "the show has now started" announcement echoed through the hall, the hustle and bustle began and everything came to life.
This was our first ever exhibit and so the balance between approaching couples and letting them approach us was a skill we had to master quickly. But, it didn't take long before people stopped to look and touch the engraved products, ask about personalisation, share their wedding themes, plans and engagement stories........I loved every second of it. It was a day filled with conversations, smiles and excitement that only Wedding planning can bring.
Hearing your reactions, your ideas and plans for your big day was genuinely inspiring, and has given me lots of ideas to get creative with. From creating a ring bearer box for a 4 legged, furry, best friend to carry and present at ring exchange, to an alternative smaller personalised keepsake that can be hung on a hanger but then taken off and kept, instead of keeping the whole hanger, and creating Dungeon and Dragons themed decor (to the lady I spoke to about this.....my head is already filled with dice favours and table numbers, and a sword shaped dice box for a ring box! My favourite moments were seeing couples picking up products, and chatting together, envisioning how they would fit into their day, and how they could be adapted to be unique to them. One particular Mother-of the-Bride was just as excited as her daughter as she took it all in and just wanted it all! These special moments are why I pour so much time and love into every design. Turning peoples visions and dreams into reality, and making them smile is the best gift to give.
I took a loooooong time prepping the Bride-to-be/Groom-to-be keyrings that we gave out as freebies and so was over the moon with how well they went down too.
We'd like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand, took a look and asked questions. Your enthusiasm and support means so much to us as such a small business just starting out, and we look forward to seeing some orders coming through soon.
And seriously, I will try anything to make your visions come true, so if you think it won't work, try me, and I'll do my very best to make it happen.
